Unlike other physical therapy programs, you will work directly with your therapist for your entire appointment, receiving the full focus and attention of your therapist. Many other rehab programs schedule multiple visits for each therapist and they move from room to room, so your rehab is compromised. At Mind Body we provide you with focused care and undivided attention for your entire appointment.

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to provide a comprehensive approach to recovery from traditional physical therapy to ongoing fitness programs that support lifestyle changes. The Authentic Pilates Method Classes and lessons taught by instructors who adhere to the standard of teaching of Romana Kryzanowska and Sari Mejia Santo. Whether your goal is to improve overall body condition, tone muscles, trim inches, stretch tight muscles or decrease stress or fatigue, our mat classes, based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates, can help you. Our mat class can also help those with back or neck pain, orthopedic conditions, asthma, or other respiratory problems, balance disorders, or chronic pain. Regardless of your current level of fitness, Pilates can help to improve the body condition and assist with injury prevention.

What’s New

We offer an introductory Package for mat work. The four-session package will introduce the participant to the mat exercises that are performed in the drop-in classes. Apparatus instruction is also available at Mind Body. Please call to schedule an appointment.

Boxing Fitness Class Tuesday and Thursday mornings!

Come join Patty on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, in our boxing gym, for a 60 minutes workout of  intense, fun, non-contact boxing!  Boxing techniques and skills will be taught and refined.  Expect to work hard hitting heavy bags, speed bags and double-end bags.  The class also includes classic boxing fitness drills for agility and balance!  Experience an exhilarating and intense workout.  All levels of experience welcome.  Gloves and hand wraps will be provided. WHAT: Non contact boxing training and fitness for all levels of experience WHEN: Tuesday and Thursday 8-9a WHERE:  Mind Body Boxing Gym- meet at the front office. CONGRATULATIONS PATTY!!    Patty Wessels, PT, has recently become LSVT BIG certified. LSVT BIG was designed from the principles of the program LSVT LOUD, which was developed in 1987. These principles were applied to limb movement in people with Parkinson disease (LSVT BIG®) and have been documented to be effective in the short term. Specifically, training increased amplitude of limb and body movement (Bigness) in people with Parkinson disease has documented improvements in amplitude (trunk rotation/gait) that generalized to improved speed (upper/lower limbs), balance, and quality of life. In addition, people were able to maintain these improvements when challenged with a dual task. This new certification blends beautifully with Patty’s other movement certifications: PWR! and Rock Steady Boxing, as she continues to improve the non-contact boxing program offered at Mind Body.


PWR!Moves Certified Therapist Patty Wessels, PT, has recently completed her certification for PWR!Moves.  PWR!Moves is a Parkinson’s Disease specific skill training program to maintain or restore skills that deteriorate and interfere with everyday movement.  Parkinson Wellness Recovery!(PWR)Moves, was developed by Dr. Becky Farley, PhD, MSPT from her over 30 years of experience in neuro rehabilitation.  PWR!Moves are building blocks for everyday movement and are performed with large amplitude, high effort and attention to action in multiple postures including floor, sitting and standing.
