Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage and bodywork provides pain relief, promotes relaxation, aids in rehabilitation, and can be both mentally and physically rejuvenating. Massage not only relieves muscle spasms, tightness and pain; it works well as a preventive tool. Receiving regular massage increases flexibility, reduces muscular injuries, and compliments other stress reduction practices.

Massage also enhances circulation of blood and lymph, which feeds more oxygen and nutrients to body cells and tissues. This assists the removal of metabolic waste products from muscle tissue to the bloodstream and ultimately out of the body. Because the body needs water to expel waste, we recommend that you drink plenty of water before and after a massage.

Massage therapy and bodywork not only eases everyday tensions, it increases body awareness and enhances the mind-body connection. Regular massage encourages you to take better care of yourself, both mentally and physically. Thereby, you gain a balance and wholeness, outside and in.
